Maho Beach Jet Blast
Jets skimming metres above sunbathers on final to Princess Juliana, the world's wildest beach live webcam.
About this view
The most famous planespotting location on the planet: at Maho Beach, arriving aircraft cross the sand at little more than 20 metres before touching down on Princess Juliana's runway. Nowhere else do wide-body jets and beach towels share a frame like this.
The stars are the transatlantic heavies, Air France and KLM wide-bodies from Paris and Amsterdam around midday local time, plus a steady rhythm of American and Caribbean narrow-bodies and island-hopper props all afternoon. Departures are their own spectacle: jet blast strong enough that the beach posts warning signs.
On the live cam, traffic runs roughly 10 am to 6 pm Atlantic time, peaking early afternoon. Check the arrivals board for SXM and time your watching to the big ones.
