Manhattan Beach is the polished jewel of LA's South Bay, a surf town gone upscale, its pier reaching into the Pacific past lines of consistent beach-break waves. The Surfers View camera is aimed exactly where the action is.
This is a genuine surf-check cam: locals read it before dawn patrol. Winter (November–February) brings the biggest west swells; summer runs smaller but cleaner south swells with long evening sessions. Beach volleyball fills the sand courts: the sport was practically invented here.
