Royal Sea Aquarium Resort, Curaçao
Pools, lagoon and a private beach at the Royal Sea Aquarium Resort in Curaçao, on a live webcam by the sea.
About this view
The Royal Sea Aquarium Resort stands on a small island just off the south coast of Curaçao, east of Willemstad, and this live cam looks over its grounds: two pools, a hot tub, a private lagoon and its beach.
It shares the island with some of Curaçao's best-known attractions, the Curaçao Sea Aquarium, the Dolphin Academy and a tourist submarine that takes visitors down the reef wall, and a dive centre sits across the way, so the guests in the frame come and go between the pool, the sand and the reef. The water on this coast stays clear and warm all year, and the reef begins a short swim from the shore.
Curaçao keeps Atlantic Standard Time, UTC−4, all year, so the afternoon at the pool runs into the European evening. The island lies below the hurricane belt, and the trade winds keep it dry and breezy for most of the year.
