This is Lamai from inside a beach bar rather than above it: the Baobab camera looks out past loungers and palms to the water, close enough that people walk through the foreground all day. It is a lower, more intimate angle than the yacht-club view further down the same bay.
Lamai is Samui's second beach and the calmer of the island's two big ones. The Gulf here holds around 28–30°C year-round, and the day has a dependable structure: swimmers and paddleboards in the morning, the sand emptying through the hottest hours, then bar tables filling as the light drops.
