Ventasso Laghi is a small ski station at about 1,320 metres in the Apennines of Reggio Emilia, under Monte Ventasso and close to Lago Calamone, and this live cam looks across its pistes. The Locanda Calamone stands on the left of the picture, and the slopes fill the rest.
Snow decides everything here. In a good winter the lifts run and the pistes are busy on weekends; in a thin one the slopes stay green. Outside the ski season the meadows turn into walking country, and the path to Lago Calamone, on the north-western flank of Monte Ventasso, is the short classic.
