Vancouver Harbour & Canada Place
Seaplanes, cruise ships and the North Shore mountains on a live webcam over Vancouver's waterfront.
About this view
Vancouver's harbour from Canada Place: floatplanes landing between yachts, the SeaBus shuttling to the North Shore, and, in season, Alaska-bound cruise ships warping out beneath the mountains. Few city harbours have this much moving traffic.
The floatplanes are the signature: Harbour Air's fleet takes off and lands every few minutes in daylight, threading a working harbour like it is the most natural thing in aviation. Cruise Mondays and Fridays (May–October) bring the big white ships.
The live cam runs around the clock on Pacific time, UTC−8/−7. Morning fog burning off the North Shore peaks is a classic; so are the winter evenings when the Grouse Mountain ski runs switch on above the city lights.
