A live cam over Main Street in Canmore, a mountain town in the Bow Valley just outside Banff National Park. The street runs straight at the mountains: the Three Sisters, the trio of peaks that stand in for Canmore on every postcard, close the view.
It is a walking street of cafés, gear shops and patios, so the frame is people on foot most of the day — hikers in the morning, families in the afternoon, the evening crowd in summer. Snow changes everything from November, and the peaks hold it into June.
