Agdao Public Market, Davao
Street-side stalls, porters and tricycles outside Davao's big Agdao market, from before dawn to dusk.
About this view
Bolted above a shopfront doorway, this 24/7 live cam looks along the pavement outside Agdao Public Market in Davao — the Philippines' largest city by land area, some 2,400 square kilometres of it, and Mindanao's biggest metropolis at around 1.8 million people.
The market itself was recently rebuilt as a two-storey hall, but much of its theatre stays out here on the street: vendors trimming bean sprouts over plastic basins, porters hauling sacks, motorbikes threading between the stalls, tricycles rattling past on the road behind.
Trading runs from about 4 a.m. to 7 p.m. local time (UTC+8), and restocking starts even earlier — the predawn hours are the busiest. In the third week of August, Kadayawan, Davao's week-long harvest festival, fills the whole city.
