A nest cam in 4K on a white stork nest at Mladé Buky, a market town of some 2,000 people at the foot of the Krkonoše, the highest mountains in Czechia, whose summit Sněžka rises to 1,603 metres a short way north. The nest sits high over the town, and the birds come back to it every spring from their wintering grounds in Africa.
The season runs like a serial: the male arrives first and claims the nest, the female follows, and by May there are eggs; the chicks hatch around the turn of June and are fed on frogs, voles and insects carried in from the meadows below. The town runs a Facebook group that follows every hatching and every departure.

Late March to early August is the season to watch the live cam, with the adults most active in the morning and the last hours of daylight; after the birds leave in August the nest stands empty until spring.
