Hongdae is Seoul's youth quarter, grown around Hongik University's famous art school, a maze of indie boutiques, cafés, tattoo parlours and street stages. This 4K camera looks down one of its main walking streets, where something is always happening in front of somebody's phone camera.
Buskers own the evenings here: K-pop dance crews rehearsing in public, singer-songwriters with portable amps, the occasional full drum kit on the pavement. Crowds build from late afternoon and peak around 9–11 pm Korean time, later on Fridays and Saturdays.
On a live webcam that never sleeps, daytime belongs to café culture and fashion. Hongdae is one of Korea's best people-watching streets, and the outfits alone are worth the visit.
