Furball Farm Cat Sanctuary
A Minnesota barn sanctuary on a live webcam, where dozens of rescued farm cats live out their days.
About this view
Furball Farm is a sanctuary in the Minnesota countryside for cats nobody else would take: feral, semi-feral, farm cats and barn cats, most of them unadoptable and all of them here for good. The live webcam moves between rooms and perches, so the view changes as the residents do.
The pleasure of it is that nothing is staged. Cats sleep in heaps on heated pads, stake out the high shelves, ignore each other with great precision, and occasionally start something. Staff pass through with food and the room reorganises itself. Overnight the infrared comes on and the nocturnal shift takes over.
The farm runs on Central Time, UTC−6 and UTC−5 in summer. Feeding rounds and cleaning are the busy hours, late morning and late afternoon. Minnesota winters are why the barn is heated, and why the huddling, from November onward, gets impressively dense.
