Founded in 1995 by Lu and Dale Picard, ECAD, Educated Canines Assisting with Disabilities, raises and trains service dogs at its centre in Winsted, in the Litchfield Hills of northwest Connecticut, and this live camera from explore.org looks into the training room: the dogs on their mats, the instructors, and the slow work of turning a puppy into a partner for someone living with a disability.
