This live webcam sits outside The Shack, further along the Fisherman's Village strip, and it is a street-level view rather than a postcard one: scooters threading between pedestrians, tables spilling onto the road, the flow of people between one open frontage and the next.
Bophut runs at a markedly different pace from Chaweng. There are no clubs and no touts here: the evening is restaurants, small bars and live acoustic sets, and the crowd skews older and slower. Watch through a full cycle and the shift is clear: near-empty and blinding at midday, filling from about six, comfortably busy by nine.
Thailand is UTC+7. The strip is at its best on Friday, when the walking street market closes the road to traffic entirely, and through the December-to-March dry season when the tables outside stay full.
