Burning Man, Black Rock City
The Burning Man Project's official live stream from Black Rock City, on the playa throughout the 2026 burn.
About this view
The Burning Man Project's own live stream from Black Rock City, the city that appears in the Nevada desert once a year and is gone a few weeks later. Tens of thousands of people build it on a dry lake bed, live in it for a week, and take every trace of it away again — the event's Leave No Trace principle is enforced down to fragments of ash.
The camera looks out over the playa, the flat alkali pan where the art installations stand and where dust storms can swallow the horizon in minutes. Mutant vehicles crawl past, bicycles cross the frame constantly, and the temperature swings from freezing at dawn to well over 35°C by afternoon.
The week always ends on Labor Day, the first Monday in September, and the playa keeps UTC−7. The Man burns on the Saturday night and the Temple on the Sunday — the two moments the stream exists for.
