Live Webcams in Taiwan
Taiwan is an island of mountains that drops to a crowded western plain, some 23 million people on land smaller than Switzerland, and the live webcams in Taiwan show both faces of it: the skyline and river wharves of Taipei, the night markets and temple squares of the cities, the harbours and sunsets of the north coast, the gorge country of Hualien on the Pacific side, and the beaches of Kenting at the island's southern tip. More than 200 peaks rise above 3,000 metres, and Yushan, at 3,952, is the highest point in East Asia outside the Himalaya.
