Tamsui, at the mouth of the Tamsui River where it meets the Taiwan Strait, is the town at the end of Taipei's red metro line, and the live webcams in Tamsui face the water the town is famous for: the fishing harbours and their piers, the ferry landings of the old street, and the sunsets over the strait that bring the whole capital out.
