Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan in southwest China, is a city of tea houses and hotpot that the rest of the world knows for its pandas, and the live webcams in Chengdu go straight to them: the bamboo gardens of the panda research base on the city's northern edge, where dozens of giant pandas eat, climb, nap and tumble in front of the cameras around the clock.
