Live Webcams in the Selinda Reserve

The Selinda Reserve, a private concession in northern Botswana, straddles the spillway that links the Okavango Delta to the Linyanti swamps, and the live webcams in the Selinda Reserve watch it from a hide at water level: elephants, giraffe and fish eagles arriving at eye height on a quiet channel, with almost no vehicles anywhere on the reserve to change their behaviour. Botswana holds the largest elephant population of any country, some 130,000 animals, and a good share of them move along these corridors in the dry months. May to October, when the surface water shrinks to the permanent channels, is the season to watch.
