Live Webcams in Niagara Falls
Niagara Falls, on the border of Canada and the United States, is three waterfalls in one gorge, and the live webcams in Niagara Falls show them from both countries: the Canadian panorama with the Horseshoe Falls at full width and the American Falls across the water, and the close-up from the New York side, near the brink, with the Rainbow Bridge and the tour boats passing below in season. Watching it live is watching the outflow of four Great Lakes go over a cliff around the clock. The falls keep Eastern Time, UTC−5, UTC−4 in summer, so the nightly illumination comes on around 22:00 UTC in winter and after 01:00 UTC in midsummer, when the fireworks follow. The Horseshoe Falls alone is some 670 metres wide. June to August for full flow and the fireworks; deep winter for the ice that builds along the gorge.
