Live Webcams in Geiranger

Geiranger is the village at the end of the Geirangerfjord in western Norway, and the live webcams in Geiranger look at the fjord itself and at the summer that arrives on it: the quay where the tenders and sightseeing boats tie up, the water with cruise ships at anchor, and the mountain walls that rise straight out of it to snow that lasts into July. The village keeps Central European Time, UTC+1, UTC+2 in summer, and in June the light does not really go; a European evening finds the fjord still lit past 23:00. The fjord runs some 15 kilometres from the open sea to the village, and the Seven Sisters waterfall drops down its northern wall on the way in. Geiranger has some 250 year-round residents and receives many hundreds of thousands of visitors between May and September.
