Live Webcams in Etosha National Park

Etosha National Park, in northern Namibia, is the safari where you stay still and the animals do the travelling, and the live webcams in Etosha National Park are the purest form of it: the floodlit waterholes beside the rest camps, where elephant herds, giraffe, zebra, lions and black rhino take their turns at the same few metres of water. The park keeps Central Africa Time, UTC+2, with no daylight saving, so the busiest hours run from late afternoon, around 14:00 UTC, into the night, when the rhino come under the lights and the lions follow the herds. At its centre lies the Etosha Pan, a salt flat of some 4,800 square kilometres that floods only in the wettest years. May to October is the season to watch: the bush dries, and everything for miles has to come to the water.
