Česká Skalice is a small town on the Úpa river in East Bohemia, an hour and a half northeast of Prague, and the live webcams in Česká Skalice look out on water and valley: Rozkoš, the reservoir the Czechs call the East Bohemian Sea, some 1,000 hectares of open lake built in the 1960s for sails, swimmers and anglers, and the wooded valley of the Úpa running up toward the Krkonoše.
