L'Albir is a seaside resort in the municipality of l'Alfàs del Pi, on the Costa Blanca between Benidorm and Altea, and the live webcams in l'Albir look at a stretch of coast made for walking: the pebble beach and its clear water, the promenade of restaurants behind it, the cliffs of the Serra Gelada natural park at the northern end, and the mountains of the Marina Baixa rising inland. The path to the lighthouse on the cliff runs about three kilometres from the beach, and winters are mild enough that the promenade stays busy in January. June to September is the swimming season, November to April the walking one.
