Denmark's live webcams go into the woods: the forest floors of North Jutland, beside the streams and under the old trees, where deer and foxes pass by day and badgers come out after dark, drawn by a little food put out to bring them past rather than to keep them. The live webcams in Denmark keep Central European Time, UTC+1, UTC+2 in summer; the badgers show themselves in the hours after dusk, from about 15:00 UTC in December and 20:00 UTC in June, and the birds own the clearing from first light. Nowhere in the country rises higher than 171 metres, so the forest, not the mountain, is Denmark's wild place, and this corner of Jutland is among its quietest. Spring, April to June, brings fawns, fox cubs and birdsong; winter snow shows every track that crossed the clearing overnight. Danmark, and Nordjylland, are the local spellings.
