Live Webcams in Lyme Regis

Lyme Regis is a small harbour town at the western edge of Dorset, on the border with Devon, and the live webcams in Lyme Regis look at a coast famous for what falls out of it: the cliffs either side of the town shed fossils after every storm, as they did for Mary Anning, born here in 1799, who found ichthyosaur and plesiosaur skeletons on these beaches. The harbour shelters inside the Cobb, the curved stone breakwater that Jane Austen used as a setting in Persuasion. About 3,700 people live in the town, many times that in summer. Lyme Regis keeps UK time, UTC+0 in winter and UTC+1 in summer, and the coast here has been part of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site since 2001.
