Live Webcams in Kazuma Forest Reserve

The Kazuma Forest Reserve lies in the far north of Botswana, between Chobe National Park and the Zimbabwe border, on one of the busiest elephant corridors in southern Africa, and the live webcams in the Kazuma Forest Reserve wait where the corridor meets the water: the pumped waterholes of the safari camps in the teak and mopane woodland, where elephant herds hundreds strong come through at dusk, and the open pans where buffalo, giraffe and the lions that follow them take their turns. The reserve keeps Central Africa Time, UTC+2, with no daylight saving; the herds arrive at the water from about 15:00 UTC and again after dark, when the night shift of hyena and honey badger begins. Kasane, the nearest town, is some 80 kilometres north. July to October, the dry season, is when everything with legs walks to the water; the rains from November scatter the herds.
