Kawachinagano is a city of some 100,000 people in the wooded hills at the southern edge of Osaka prefecture, an hour by train from Osaka on the pilgrim road to Mount Kōya, and the live webcams in Kawachinagano show the countryside side of Osaka: the roadside station of Okukawachi Kuromaro no Sato with its farmers' market, workshops and dog park, the temple valleys of Kanshin-ji and Amano-san, and the forest roads that climb toward the Kōya plateau.
