Jesolo, in the Veneto, is the beach that Venice goes to, forty kilometres away across the lagoon, and the live webcams in Jesolo show the sand that made it: the ranks of umbrellas of the beach clubs along the Lido, the Adriatic beyond them, and the promenade and squares behind, where the evening walk starts when the umbrellas close.
