Live Webcams in Fort-Mahon-Plage

Fort-Mahon-Plage, a small resort on the Picardy coast of France between the Bay of the Somme and the Bay of the Authie, is a village attached to an enormous beach, and the live webcams in Fort-Mahon-Plage show it whole: the promenade, the sand yachts racing when the tide is out, walkers heading for the dunes, and the Channel a long way off at low water. The village keeps Central European Time, UTC+1, UTC+2 in summer; the sand yachts need low tide and wind, and the best light is the long evening around 19:30 UTC in July. The Bay of the Somme next door uncovers some 70 square kilometres of sand and channels at low tide, and the Authie estuary holds one of the biggest seal colonies in France.
