Live Webcams in Buzzards Bay

Buzzards Bay is a village of the town of Bourne, Massachusetts, at the western end of the Cape Cod Canal, and the live webcams in Buzzards Bay look at the gateway to Cape Cod: the canal, its bridges and the bay that gives the village its name. The canal, opened in 1914 and widened in the 1930s, cut through the neck of the Cape so that ships no longer had to round it, and its vertical-lift railroad bridge of 1935 still rises and falls for trains. Some 3,900 people live in the village. Buzzards Bay keeps Eastern Time, UTC−5, UTC−4 in summer, and the two road bridges over the canal jam on summer weekends, when much of New England heads for the Cape.
