Live Webcams in Switzerland

Switzerland is the country where the mountains come down to the city, and the live webcams in Switzerland show both ends of it: the Reuss flowing out of the lake at Lucerne under a covered wooden bridge, swans on the water and the Alps behind the rooftops, and the Swiss Alps themselves, ski stations, glacier terraces, alpine lakes and village squares. The webcams keep Central European Time, UTC+1, UTC+2 in summer; first light on the peaks comes around 04:00 UTC in midsummer, and the ski lifts run from about 07:30 to 15:00 UTC in winter. The Alps cover some 60 per cent of the country, which is why so much of it sits above the clouds. December to March for snow; June to September for green pastures and long evenings on the bridge. Luzern is the local spelling.
