Live Webcams in Greenland
Greenland's live webcams look out over Disko Bay at Ilulissat, where icebergs the size of buildings drift out of the mouth of Sermeq Kujalleq, one of the fastest-moving glaciers on Earth, and the fjord that collects them has been a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2004. The live webcams in Greenland keep the territory's own clock, UTC−2, UTC−1 in summer, since the change of 2023; from late May to late July the sun never sets over the bay and the ice glows pink at midnight, while from late November to mid-January it never rises and the bay is a blue twilight around 15:00 UTC. The fjord discharges around 35 cubic kilometres of ice a year, roughly a tenth of everything that calves off Greenland. June to September for open water and whales; February to April for sea ice and sled dogs. Kalaallit Nunaat is the country's own name.
